Matcha Espresso Iced Latte

Ingredients:

  1. Matcha green tea powder: ½ tsp teaspoons
  2. Hot water: 30 ml (about 2 tablespoons)
  3. Espresso shot: 1 (or strong brewed coffee as an alternative)
  4. Milk (of your choice): 200 ml
  5. Ice cubes
  6. Sweetener (optional, such as sugar, honey, or syrup)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Matcha: In a small bowl, sift the matcha powder to remove any lumps. Add the hot water and whisk vigorously until the matcha is fully dissolved and a light froth forms on top.
  2. Brew the Espresso: Brew a shot of espresso using an espresso machine or strong brewed coffee. Let it cool slightly.
  3. Mix Matcha and Espresso: In a glass, combine the matcha mixture and the espresso. Stir to combine them well.
  4. Add Ice: Fill the glass with ice cubes to cool the mixture.
  5. Add Milk: Pour the milk over the ice. If you prefer your latte sweet, add your choice of sweetener.
  6. Garnish and Serve: You can garnish with a sprinkle of matcha powder on top for a decorative touch. Stir well before drinking to combine all the flavors.
