Anti-Aging Matcha Latte

  • Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Hot Water (not boiling): 2 tablespoons
  • Unsweetened Almond Milk (or any plant-based milk): 1 cup
  • Collagen Powder: 1 tablespoon (optional for skin elasticity)
  • Turmeric Powder: ½ teaspoon (for its anti-inflammatory properties)
  • Cinnamon: ¼ teaspoon (for blood sugar control)
  • Ginger Powder: ¼ teaspoon (for digestion and immunity)
  • Honey or Maple Syrup: 1 teaspoon (optional, for sweetness)
  • Coconut Oil or MCT Oil: 1 teaspoon (for healthy fats and brain health)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Matcha: Sift the matcha powder into a bowl to remove lumps. Add hot water and whisk vigorously in a zigzag motion until frothy.
  2. Warm Milk: Heat the almond milk in a saucepan until warm but not boiling. Avoid overheating to preserve nutrients.
  3. Add Spices and Collagen: Stir in turmeric, cinnamon, and ginger into the warm milk. If using, add the collagen powder. Whisk well to ensure everything is well combined and there are no lumps.
  4. Combine Matcha and Milk Mixture: Pour the matcha into a large mug, followed by the spiced milk mixture. Stir to combine.
  5. Add Healthy Fats: Stir in coconut oil or MCT oil. This not only adds a smooth texture but also contributes to the anti-aging benefits.
  6. Sweeten (Optional): If desired, add honey or maple syrup to taste.
